Our Story

Astra Advisory was founded in 2026 by John Garrett, a United States Naval Officer, who during his service had developed a simple yet powerful conviction: that everyone we meet in life has something valuable to teach us—which is more often than not by showing us exactly what not to do. This insight became the foundation of Astra Advisory. John set out to design a consulting practice that goes beyond the traditional approach of simply showing what the path to right is, but in addition by emphasizing what the wrong is, which so often is overlooked.
